Building a Family to Help Families Build Homes: Morrell Builders Gives Back with Habitat for Humanity Greater Rochester

At Morrell Builders, we’ve always believed that what we build goes far beyond walls and roofs, it’s about people, families, and community. As our company motto says, we’re “building a family to help families build homes.”  That spirit is at the heart of everything we do, and every year, we take a day to live that mission in a special way by volunteering with Habitat for Humanity Greater Rochester.

This year, our entire team came together to lend a hand on three different homes across the Rochester area. From framing to painting trim and window sealing, everyone rolled up their sleeves and worked side by side with Habitat staff and future homeowners to bring these houses one step closer to becoming homes.

More Than Construction — It’s Connection

For us, this annual volunteer day is about so much more than the tasks we complete. It’s about coming together as a team to give back to the community we’re so proud to serve. It’s about meeting families who are working toward homeownership and being reminded of the profound impact a safe, stable home can have on a family’s life.

Our annual Habitat Day has become a cornerstone of our company culture — a day that reminds us why we do what we do, and who we do it for. We look forward to continuing this tradition and strengthening the community we call home, one family at a time.
